Why Corbin Cares Matters
The Corbin Cares Foundation was born out of personal tragedy and deep love. Named in honor of Dr. Simon’s son, Corbin, the foundation is a living legacy that channels grief into compassion and action. Its mission is to provide support for families navigating the unimaginable—coping with pediatric illness, loss, and other hardships that require not just strength, but community.
Through acts of kindness like creating and distributing care packages for families in hospital, and bereavement packages for families who have lost a child, Corbin Cares helps carry others through their darkest days. For Dr. Simon and Rachel, this foundation is not just a nonprofit—it’s a way to transform pain into purpose and ensure that Corbin’s spirit continues to make a difference in the world.
